Govt. Kerala Varma HS School Eriyad, Kodungallur (GVHSS Eriyad)
Govt. Kerala Varma Higher Secondary School Eriyad, Kodungallur (GKVHSS Eriyad) was started as a Primary School in 1921 by Manapat Kunhumohamed Haji. It is situated at Eriyad Village, an outskirt village of Kodungallur Municipality. School has co-curriculum upto plus two level.
The School was handed over to the Cochin State by Manapat Kunhumohamed Haji and was upgraded to a High School in 1946. Currently GKVHSS provides curriculum upto 12th standard under State Govt. Kerala.
